about
Buzzbands LA - "Glasz is the new collaboration between two guys who know “epic” — Jonathan Haskell of Seven Saturdays and Jim Evens of Helen Stellar. Seven Saturdays began as Haskell’s forays into ambient instrumental music, driven by lush textures and the warm-and-fuzzies he created on his Rhodes, and evolved on the self-titled 2013 album, which featured a host of guest vocalists. One of those was Evens, who fronts Chicago-bred shoegazers Helen Stellar, known for their dense wall-of-guitars and Evens’ pleading croon. Glasz is a happy marriage of both sensibilities, with the spectacularly cinematic “What You Say” meditating on chasm between words and actions."
